Refrigeration and airconditioning associates design and
supervise the installation and maintenance of refrigeration
and airconditioning systems.
Refrigeration and airconditioning associates may perform
the following tasks:
- design and produce relevant working drawings
- supervise the development, construction and testing of
complex refrigeration, airconditioning and mechanical
services systems
- be involved in sales, production and quality control.
Associates may be concerned with a particular aspect of
engineering, such as design engineering drafting, system
controls and instrumentation, technical sales, production
planning, industrial training or engineering management. They
work in conjunction with professional engineers and
tradespeople.
